Luliconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent belonging to the azole group, inhibits the enzyme lanosterol demethylase. This action blocks ergosterol synthesis, a crucial component of the fungal cell membrane. Luliconazole exhibits strong fungicidal activity against dermatophytes, Candida albicans, Malassezia spp, Trichophyton, and Epidermophyton spp both in-vitro and in-vivo.
Safety and effectiveness have not been established in pediatric patients. Use under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Follow the healthcare provider's advice for optimal results.
Contact dermatitis and cellulitis may occur. Application site reactions were observed in less than 1% of subjects in clinical trials.
Luliconazole cream is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Luliconazole.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of Luliconazole cream in pregnant women. Use during pregnancy is advised only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Caution is recommended during breastfeeding due to the potential excretion of Luliconazole in human milk.
Do not store above 30°C. Keep away from light and out of the reach of children.
